Drawing inspiration from Peranakan culture, "Tiles Tapestry" is a vibrant artwork crafted using a unique Japanese technique of blending powdered pastels with fingers. This artwork depicts a collage of 4 individual tiles forming a cohesive composition with rainbow clouds.
 
I use this imagery to symbolise the unity of mothers and the diverse experiences of motherhood. Each tile represents a unique story, reflecting upon the multifaceted nature of motherhood through self-reflection, similar to how a rainbow is a reflection and refraction of light.
